We offer staging, deployment and support services, providing clients a single point-of-contact to procure, prepare, deliver, install, integrate and support their entire desktop IT infrastructure.

Our desktop services provide support for desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, thin clients, workstations, printers, monitors, VOIP phones and Microsoft Windows software.

To avoid the impact of product failure during on-site installations our technicians follow a rigorous pre-delivery testing process that is designed to test every component including USB and audio ports.  A completed checklist covering all features and components is provided to clients and retained in our configuration management database for those clients requiring data for their own asset management systems.

High volume imaging resources including dedicated servers and storage hardware, network-attached KVM switch units and multiple vendor power supplies complemented by a team of experienced technicians ensures we meet clients’ PC and laptop deployment deadlines. Our service includes loading and licensing additional non-standard application software and testing every unit before delivery.

On top of that, our technicians can manage clients’ desktop device firmware with minimal disruption to maximise performance and reliability.

Clients enjoy a wide range of services including PC imaging and deployment at the beginning of product lifecycles, subsequent hardware and software upgrades, enhanced manufacturers warranties, level 1, 2 and 3 service desk support and end-of-life disposal and recycling.

Our inventory controllers and sales administrators manage purchase orders and shipments from suppliers to ensure timely delivery to clients.  Individual consignments are collated, stored in designated warehouse locations and prepared for delivery in accordance with project schedules.  Clients with interstate offices enjoy coordinated delivery to multiple locations Australia-wide.

Controlling inventory of desktop products and their respective options is essential to coordinating the delivery of products and services.  We operate a large warehouse with designated client locations and employ a team of inventory controllers to manage consignments and liaise with service team project managers.

Clients generally take advantage of manufacturers’ volume discounts when ordering desktop products and then often prefer to take delivery of smaller consignments in accordance with project deployment schedules.  Clients make use of our warehouse facilities to avoid delivery delays from overseas manufacturers by storing products locally.  We also utilise our own transport resources to deliver products to clients because they are more reliable and secure than local courier services.

Prior to taking delivery of new desktop devices our technicians ensure appropriate cabling is installed and patch panels are suitably configured.  Cable management for desktop PCs, IP phones, monitors and laptops with port replicators and other devices is also addressed to enhance clients’ individual workstations.

When clients relocate to new premises our logistics and technical services teams unite to provide the resources required to move entire IT infrastructures with minimal inconvenience to staff and business operations.  Relocation projects require careful planning and coordination of human resources and the preparation of new and existing equipment.
